Guantánamo’s 10th Anniversary

Guantanamo’s 10th anniversary passes without notice.

  • Nobody drinks wine when they watch football, Ted, what kind of fan are you!?

  • Lots of good anniversaries coming up… It shouldn’t be a surprise that many of us will think of this one first thanks to this comic.
Ted, I love your stuff and I share links on Facebook often. However, I wish, that when I did so, there was a thumbnail image to help draw attention (for both comics and columns). I’m in Canada and don’t know how widely read you are… trying to introduce you to as many people up here as possible.

  • Worst war marketing move in probably a millennium.

By the way, I drink red wine while watching a game, but there’s no accounting for my taste.

  • The FHE store near me is closing and I picked up a copy of Costa-Gavras “Missing” which I watched for the first time last night.
Gitmo will never close, my friends.
    Ever.

First of all, that isn’t wine. It’s hemlock; she’s given up.

Secondly, the time on the cable converter box is wrong. It should be 3:16. Remember, Jesus is there, helping both teams to victory.

  • @Alex: 3:16 is a corrupt verse. The oldest copies are different from the later copies.

But the King James project used the newer, corrupt versions for its translation.

  • Agree with Tyler ; Gitmo may in the end be moved, but it will never close – at least not until drone development has reached the stage that all those with unacceptable opinions can be eliminated immediately after a brain scan….

    Henri
