No you are confusing Mohamad with Allah. Muslims follow the 10 comandments including Thou shalt make unto thee no graven image. The ban on drawing the prophet PBOH is so that people will not start worshoping and praying to him. There is no ban on writing the name of God otherwise you wouldn´t be able to read the Quaran or the Bible for that matter.
