BP could afford to drill—not to prepare for the possibility of an accident.

  1. US 395 says:

Until I’ve heard exactly what went wrong, who’as fault it was, and if there is criminality involved, I’m agnostic on what could have been done to prevent the blow-out. I do know the fed’s were slow to move on allowing LA to setup sandbars while the Army Corp evaluated the environmental impact of the sandbars. I also know the feds have a plan in place, since 1994, on how to deal with a major oil spill, including the deployment of special ships meant to corral the oil on the surface. Except the government never purchased a single ship. Bush’s fault, Obama’s fault, Congress’ fault? I don’t know.

But I guess ranting about the B P CEO makes one feel good.
