ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORIGINAL ART

Ordering a Ted Rall original is simple. Just follow the following steps:

1. Check the archives for the cartoon you want, note the DATE that it appeared, DESCRIBE IT in detail (the title or first few lines are most helpful) and E-MAIL Ted to tell him that you're interested in buying it. If you don't know or can't find the date, please attach a JPEG or GIF scan of the cartoon or describe it as well as you can and Ted will do his best to find it. Original syndicated cartoon image size: 7.5" high by 10" wide. Original Time Magazine cartoon image size: 3.25" wide by 11" wide.

2. If your cartoon is available, Ted will e-mail you to let you know the price.

3. Original artwork will be sent by Fedex in sturdy packaging to ensure safe delivery. Fedex delivers to street addresses only--no Post Office Boxes.

4. Please note: Original artwork is black and white line art only, since shading and/or colors are added by computer in Photoshop. Some original art contains spelling, word placement and other errors that were later corrected prior to actual publication. Collectors of cartoon art understand and appreciate it as a window into the creative process; though an original looks 90% like the final product it is rarely an exact replica of what appeared in print.

5. LEGAL NOTICE: BUYING AN ORIGINAL DOES NOT CONFER THE RIGHT TO REPRODUCE, LICENSE, DISPLAY FOR PROFIT OR IN ANY WAY PUBLISH OR DISTRIBUTE THE WORK OR ANY IMAGE THEREOF WITHOUT THE EXPRESS WRITTEN PERMISSION OF TED RALL. IT DOES NOT IMPLY, CONVEY OR TRANSMIT ANY TRANSFER OF COPYRIGHT WHATSOEVER, WHICH REMAINS WITH TED RALL IN PERPETUITY UNLESS OTHERWISE ASSIGNED.
