A much-discussed poll reveals that 80% of Americans distrust the government.

The thing about polls is that they don't represent any absolute values, the 80% of distrustful citizen don't really care that much, there are only a few thousands willing to make a spectacle of themselves at teabagger protests, much less vote scoundrels out of office.

The culture of this country today is the culture of apathy, the vast majority of Americans don't care about anything that doesn't entertain them.; 4/22/10 10:57 AM
