re: Cartoon for Monday, April 19, 2010: Federal Government profit $1.3 trillion to spend on not one, but TWO wars!
re: Monday, April 19, 2010 NYT headline: Two Top Qaeda Leaders in Iraq are Reported Killed in a Raid
Fairly honest question, one would think: Where's Osama bin Laden? How long has it been now? If the United States Government doesn't want people hatching consipiracy theories that George W. Bush had something to do with 9-11, our intelligence departments should find Osama bin Laden and bring him to justice. But maybe Osama has been dead several years, and those audio tapes are coming from the same undisclosed dark places where Dick Cheney used to hide.
So, our military kills two more foreigners who MIGHT be insurgents or terrorists. They might also be common citizens taking a walk down the street while holding take-out, which to our winged warriors would be...ummmm...an RPG! Yeah, that's the ticket! Tell American citizens we killed two more alleged leaders and the polls FOR more wars against terrorism will skyrocket in addition to support for taxpayer-funded, tilting-at-windmill NASA trips to MARS! Fuck public education in the USA! The wealthy and powerful have sufficient private school. The more fuckups and dropouts we have, the more cannon fodder for wars.
Turns out Barry The Man Child took seven times the amount from Goldman Sachs compared to what Bush took from Enron.
Hypocrites.
