Ted, I really think you need to implement some kind of verification for anonymous posting, this makes no sense at all!!

Susan, I'm not at all surprised that you buy into the NFL's propaganda that somehow the Saints winning the super bowl is meaningful with regard to Katrina. . . as if a sports franchise winning a league title makes up for a nation turning it's back on an entire city....or at least the non-white part of it. The only reason this is even in the public discourse is because the NFL and ESPN feel they need heart-wrenching stories and drama to go with spectator sports.

But if you are going to buy into the bullshit, you ought to at least do the cheer correctly.. Geaux Saints....yeah, the Saints that were on the verge of bolting and moving to San Antonio right after Katrina

Aggie, a Saints victory doesn't make up for what N.O. went through, but keeping up the spirit is important, and that's what this victory did. BTW, I'm not a sports fan at all.
