No way, extra apple sauce. They'll give you a carrot stick and withhold your dentures. Die! You old bastards! Die! What good are you if we can't send you to a war or deny you an education and a job? Just disappear and die, but leave your goods to the government. Die! What have you done for 'us' the last twelve seconds? Nothing? Die!
Yes Ted, Team Obama is second to none in posturing and make-believe theatrics that amount to nothing.
They have perfected the bullshitting artistry.
He really is just like John McCain!
"we" will never be like "them," Ted, and as long as "we" believe that completely, "we" can be "them" and not be them at the same time.
Speaking of tough, or lack of it, what are you girls doing on Super Bowl Sunday? Thought you'd like to know my wife and I (a heterosexual marriage!) went to church (Rick Warren's church in our SUV, stopped at Wal Mart and came home to watch the game on our 52" HDTV. What's it like in a lefties house? Or should I say flat? Maybe you put some biofuel in the Subaru, drive down to your local farmer's market or co-op (no more Whole Foods!), and buy some organic veggies. Then eat them raw while reading the Village Voice. Hey do they get the Village Voice in Lansing?
He will need to get a lot tougher if he wants to be reelected.
A whole year wasted, you say? I'm thinking "Mission Accomplished"... transfer of trillions in wealth to capitalists through "bailouts"; belligerent occupations in Central Asia, Iraq, and Palestine continue and deepen with a record-breaking $708BIL military budget for 2010; additional bloodthirsty threats against Iran and Venezuela; Race to the Top school privatization and profiteering (not to mention gross misuse of standardized tests and abuse of students, teachers, etc); "Monsanto Man" Tom Visack (AgriSecretary) pushing GMOs down our throats; use of the White House bully pulpit to attack and marginalize Black, Latino/a, and progressive leaders; 32 percent increase in personal bankruptcies in 2009 but AIG just delivered another $100mil in bonuses and Goldman Sachs' CEO gave himself $9million (he "took a hit"); Card Check disappeared, as did the anti-war movement.
Years ago, Mother Jones magazine put Bill Clinton on its cover, portrayed as a boxer with black eye, on the ropes, with a headline like "Fight Back!". The magazine editors are either stupid or lying. And surely, Ted, you cannot believe that Obama has merely "failed to fight". Obama's "legacy" is secured - his speaking fees and book advances and warm leather boardroom chairs are waiting for him, whether it's in 2013 or 2017. Obama has already said that he doesn't care when he's released from playing president.
Today, I read that Wall Street mascot Obama will be meeting with the GOP Klavern on Capitol Hill. Woohoo - just like the Super Bowl, a non-story.
