Someone needs to tell Obama he is not Prime Minister.
This cartoon waaaaaay oversimplifies the mess Obama inherited. Ted, why don't you just stand in front of the White House with a noose and a dummy in the likeness of President Obama?
Has anyone listened to the hard core Republican ASSHOLES interviewed on NPR? Those muther fuckers are determined not to allow any business to take place. They are looped recordings of the same bullshit the Republican party has played the last 50 years. And incredibly, half of America continues to buy it! Our country deserves to topple. Suddenly, a small group of brainless loudmouths who can't see beyond their own pocketbooks, who claim they're the same stuff as the folks who held the Boston Tea Party, are given credence by the entire American media. How many hits does our country have to take? We ARE doomed. No doubt about it. Doomed. The only consolation is the thought that assholes like Rush Limbaugh will quickly learn that their millions are worthless, and the Pillsbury Dough Boy will NOT make it on the streets! Moo hoo hoo ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
Obama is not President or Prime Minister.
He is our Savior.
That is why I voted for him.
Obama is a complete bust. His legacy will be worse than Carter's. Even worse, he has disillusioned millions - especially the youth vote. From day one he made it clear that change is NOT coming to Washington. From stacking his administration with political insiders to lying about lobbyists, Obama is quite possibly the biggest flim-flam man that's ever occupied the presidency. With Bush, we knew the damage he would wreak. With Obama, the damage is stealth. In the end, history may prove Obama even worse than Bush and give him the title WPE (Worst President Ever).
Obama could show up in a Klan outfit and piss on Cesar Chavez's grave while, in flawless German, explain why the entire budget of the US was being handed over to Halliburton and why the US would extend loan guarantees to Israel build gas chambers for the Palestinians in Gaza... yes, Obama could do all these things, and tens of millions of Americans would say: "Well, at least he's not George W. Bush."
Stop using right wing framing. Obama has a list of accomplishments longer than your arm. Just because the Republicans have stymied him on the things YOU think are important, does not make those accomplishments magically disappear.
And today Barry renewed the Patriot Act. So what have we learned? Leftists are the easiest people in the world to fool. Barry had no experience except he was a clean articulate black who could drop the negro accent when he needed to. And stupid leftists practically drooled on their way to the polls to vote for him. For some stupid reason you believed he was going to govern on the left. And you still have idiots like Aggie defending him. Frankly, dolts like Aggie aren't even intelligent enough to vote.
Just remember, your other choice was the man who sang a little jingle about bombing Iran.

From reading some of the comments defending and finding execuses for Obama, I cann't help but shake my head in wonder and bemusement and marvel at the power of denial and self delusion.
If Obama said the sun rises from the west and sets in the east, those infatuated people will convince themselves that is true.
@ Russell..right, in a nation of over 300 million we only ever had 2 choices. I'm so sick of this bullshit, Canada here I come, better hockey team anyway.
I've been trying to figure out why I am amused enough to continually read this blog, and I think it's the primal amusement of watching caged monkeys fling crap at each other. That is essentially what the American public has been left with.
JXC - Canada will not save you, it's cold and they have crappy beer anyway. There's nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. Here as in Europe a century ago, the Feudal domination by power elites will spread until it is crushed in a bloody cesspool of brutality from which there is no escape.
There are ultimately 3 types of people in this equation:
Those happy cows who flock to their sanctuaries of McWorld and embrace it with willful ignorance.
Those unhappy cows who flock to their sanctuaries of USDA Certified Organic McWorld and gripe about the happy cows.
And those who steadily depart from the conventional pasture and seek to build a life which can sustain itself when the blood and electricity of McWorld stops flowing.
It's important to understand 1) which group you're in, and 2) who you can really depend on. Most people have made their choices, even if they don't know it.
