Sharp-eyed readers will recall that I did a similar cartoon about Bush.

So apparently my country and its issues (and hope-ful non-invasion) are higher on the priority list for Obama than Unemployed US Adults?

I'm Touched.

BTW Shouldn't Air America radio be talking about unemplyed people, thus bringing them higher on the priority scale?

And I love "Das Rahm Bunker"; for when das sturmbahnfuhrer Emmanuel needs to make his getaway/last stand.

How about one on Gorbachev, the real reason the Cold War ended?

I haven't yet heard anyone in the Obama Administration say "Go Fuck Yourself" to a lawmaker, or the President and Vice President, before an open mike, refer to a journalist as a "major-league asshole." And certainly, Biden has not (yet) shot a friend in the face with a shotgun.
Maybe this is because the Obama Administration occasionally looks in a mirror, not to preen and groom, but to see itself in reality, not virtual bullshit patriots, and in its peripheral vision. When we question, criticize and dissent, we are always told "These things take time." Now, everyone seems to want an overnight miracle from Obama, forget that Bush eye-eye had EIGHT LONG YEARS to do HIS and CHENEY's damage.
It is what it is, not what the Republicans and their lackey stooges say from their moist, dark hiding places where they take cheap shots 24-7, and the jello-spined, flip-flopping Democrats and Republicans disguised as Democrats. Oh, yeah, Mister Rove, we know you're still around doing your Lee Atwater impersonation.
Want to know what to really be afraid of? The progeny of James Carville and Mary Matalin! A 1950's style film noir sci-fi with lots and lot of Theremin background to send chills up and down our spines should be produced beginning now, then a followup when the shit hits the fan.

I thought you people think that Osama's in Saudi Arabia, not Pakistan

Aaron, you mean a whack job on old Gorby? He's pretty much alive and kicking, so it's not like Ted can dance on his grave.

You're joking, right?

Anonymous: We don't want Obama to accomplish everything overnight. What we want is for him to stop governing like Bush the overwhelming majority of the time.

It could be a possibility.

You're joking, right? - Grouchy

Ayman Al-Zawahiri is definitely somewhere in the Federally Administered Tribal Area. Or in Afghanistan. One place we know Al Qaeda's number 2 cannot be is in Egypt because he is definitely a waned man and his connections there would never be strong enough to keep him out of a prison cell or an execution chamber.

Osama Bin Laden on the other hand is from the second most powerful family of Saudi Arabia. And there are those rumours of kidney trouble. So he might not need to necesarily be in the Pakistani Tribal Areas, Afghanistan or (this one is highly unlikely) a Pakistani slum. He might have smuggled through Balochistan, to the Arabian Sea coast and then taken the four or five hour boat ride to UAE, Oman or if in Eight Hours, through the straits of Hormuz into Saudi Arabia.

Now considering its been eight years; also consider "Is it possible to smuggle one man from the Oman or UAE coast, through these countries and across the Saudi border"? and then consider its been Eight Bloody Long Years!

And then....

There is a third option. He might simply be dead.

Seriously, it would be a service to us all if Ted re-hashed exactly where and when he heard the rumours of Osama Bin Laden getting Dialysis in Rawalpindi's CMH Hospital during September 2001

Because Steve Coll, Ahmed Rashid, Hamid Mir, Rahimullah Yusufzai, four major authorities on bin Laden, who cannot afford to be wrong, have never publicised this story.

It would deeply help if Ted could give some heads up on this situation.

Sincerely

Y_S

I'm inclined to believe Goldstein, err, I mean Bin Laden, is actually dead...
