If Afghanistan had not attacked us on 9/11, we wouldn't have to bomb them. Afghanistan has a choice. They can end this. Will they make that choice or will they continue to support terrorism?

But you see, McCain/Palin would have bombed them so much more maliciously. Obama deeply regrets every single life he is helplessly forced to order to be blown to smithereens.

It's hard to believe anyone is still ignorant enough to say this.
Afghanistan has a choice. If they would just walk away, we would give them safe passage through the wasteland. If they would just walk away, there would be an end to the horror.

The USA subsidized the French, post-WWII occupation/continued colonization of Vietnam until 1954, then we remained in-country until 1975. Some writers are saying our involvement in Afghanistan is the longest the USA has ever been involved in a war overseas. I.E.D. brain injuries from O.E.F. and Afghanistan aside, we still have Veterans of the Vietnam 'Conflict' with PTSD symptoms that might have calmed down slightly, but are coming on like gangbusters, BECAUSE (forgive the upper case) THE BUSH PEOPLE COMPLETELY IGNORED LESSONS FROM THE VIETNAM INVOLVEMENT, AND THOSE 58,000-PLUS NAMES ON THE WALL? LIVES WASTED. Used to think maybe the USA could claim some benefit from having killed so many of our young military people, but BUSH AND HIS FUCKING FELLOW WAR CRIMINALS, by starting a war in Iraq, proved we place no value on those whose names are on THE WALL. Neither is value placed on the millions of walking wounded from that same conflict forty-some years ago.
I'm numb for life. I do wish ill on our recently-retired former (p)Resident. I hope he contracts the worst, lingering cancer, and DEA agents raid his castle in Texas and confiscate his medical marijuana. The history rewriters want us to see the human side of George W. Bush. They're fucking kidding. They canNOT be serious. And that's not a stretch, because they weren't serious about wasting human life for Bush's eight years.
