This cartoon is hilarious. President Obama is the doctor telling a young woman he can surgically restore her hymen after the MEN in her family have doused her with gasoline and set her on fire to regain the family's HONOR.
An alternate 'celebration' is to have a neutral-flesh-toned, helium-filled dirigible dive into the Ground-Zero Hole and dry hump New York.
Why are you showing me these dirty pictures?!
Ted, this is really funny. "national disgrace"? Just add it to the list of national disgraces. . . too many to bother listing.
One criticism. Stop acting like this started with Barack Obama, and stop acting like he bears any responsibility, he's a consequence, not a predicate, of our epic national disgrace.
Does Ted still think the Taliban ruling Afghanistan in 2001 had nothing to do with Bin Laden? What a fool.
Why is it a disgrace? Aren't they fighting about how to develop it? It's not like it's being left to rot on purpose?
An essay I read in school stated that self-determination isn't really self-determination. We know it's about the OIL. It's about gold, diamonds, uranium...the list goes on.
Human behavior has its cancers, too. Oft times, the cancers are advertised and perceived as legitimate (kudos to Joe Stalin and drunkard former Senator Joseph McCarthy and J. Edgar Hoover and his constant male companion, oh MY!) The good news is that it will not get better. So, Afghanistan citizens (whatever we choose to label you and your many leaders), like Americans, bend over, waaaay over, and prepare to kiss your ass goodbye. The ghost and spirit of Curtis LeMay will be exhumed by some young turk in the American system of government and military and teach them 'Central-Asian and Mideastern expletive-deleteds' a lesson. Doctor Strangelove and the Doomsday Machine and General Ripper and Dick Cheney were right all along. Kill, Kill, Kill until we're eating our own shit!
Not to worry, New Yorkers. Chicago, the former Second City, has had "Block 37" in the Heart of downtown in limbo for who knows how long? Greed, corruption and the egos of the Mayors have kept Chicago's own 'HOLE' alive and undeveloped way longer than New York won't figure out what to do with their 'HOLE.' We can also think about the DMZ separating North and South Korea, the never-ending hostilities and murders between Palestinians and Israelis.
Here's an idea. George W. Bush, in true Daddy-Bush fashion, can sky dive (without a parachute) into New York's HOLE, the entire opening covered by a tightly-stretched banner that announces, "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!"
