Cartoon for September 5, 2009

You would be reading this in the Old World if Columbus had to get funding the same way entrepreneurs have to do it now.

Please do more like these ... your social cartoons are amazing. We're all sick of politics. Thank you.

Whining doesn't change reality. Whine, whine, whine. You sound like a baby Rall.

"Wahhh. I want it to be like the old days!!! Wahhh. Boo-hoo!!! Bad internet go away!!! Wahhhh."

You and Bors can get on board or be left behind. Posting at HuffPo would be a good start.

Ted *has* gotten on board *and* been left behind. That's the gag. Bors, Rall, Tom Tomorrow, etc., are all coming to the realization that they've been rather sorely used. They were popular as hell in Democrat-leaning publications when the Republicans were mismanaging things. But now that the "good guys" are in, who needs a bunch of kvetching complainers?
Like Lear's Fool, they are the only ones on the stage who have been speaking the truth and like Lear's Fool they are being quietly hung offstage, almost as an afterthought, at the end of the play...

Bob, kvetching aside, it doesn't change the fact that HuffPo seems to be profitable. And I don't think it necessarily has anything to do with the fact that they're party-hacks.

Has anyone considered how the world might look better if Columbus HADN'T made his voyage?

The world would be very different, Angelo, but not necessarily better.

Sorry, Aggie, for some odd reason I thought your comment was made by Angelo. I need more sleep.
