Cartoon for September 10, 2009

I'm releasing this cartoon a few days early since it's dated material.

Turns out that there really was a liberal working for Obama! Fortunately, he has been rooted out and fired.

You don't get it do ya? It's the 911 baton merdeux dear friend...nobody wants to get stuck with it.

You really need to look into it again... yes, I know, Truthers are nuts, tin foil hat, antisemite, W way too stupid, etc. etc.

I read your book on Afghanistan and I know you want to help end the fraudulent WOT farce so, go for the jugular and stop pussyfooting.
Check this out for starters. All new, pro on a budget, and real, real solid.

Well, maybe he can be more effective outside of the W.H.

He's gutless. He denies he is a 9-11 Truther even though his name is on the 9-11 Truther petition.

Who knows? Maybe it's true that he didn't really read the thing.

Me, I'm not a Truther. I don't think a missile hit the Pentagon, that Bush specifically knew about 9/11 in advance, that the WTC was brought down in a controlled demolition. However, I don't believe for one second that Flight 93 wasn't shot down under Cheney's order (and rightly so).

Unless Im mistaken (that's the best CYA catchphrase of all time!), the petition he signed asked for an investigation of 9/11.

What's wrong with gathering more facts? It certainly didn't feel like the 9/11 commission got all the facts.

I know nil about Van Jones, and I don't mean this as a defense of King O but do you think a "true liberal" (I think you mean a hardcore leftist) like him would fare any better in a Hillary (or, for that matter, an Edwards) administration? Would he be even nominated in these cases?

Folks with the same ideological bent as yourself are used as cannon fodder by the Democrats in the same way conservative evangelicals are used by the Republicans. It's naive to think you'll get your revolution from the party of John Kerry.

I wish the president could say "SIT DOWN!!! SHUT UP!!" to the republicans.

just come out and tell them that they suck, they fucked everything up, and that neither he nor 80% of the people who live in this country care what they think.

and then he can throw something smelly at Newt G...

My point was not that he signed the petition, it's that he now denies he knew what he was signing.

Whether he agrees with the views expressed, Jones was a signatory on a 2004 statement calling on then-New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer and others to launch an investigation into evidence that suggests "people within the current administration may indeed have deliberately allowed 9/11 to happen, perhaps as a pretext for war."

Ted,

It is ALWAYS wrong to gather more facts! The more facts you have the less credibility you have. The more you know, the less trustworthy you are. That is the way of things, the way of the Force....the way of Witch Doctors in Wasilla.

Wow 80%?! How does jibe with these numbers:

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 44% would vote for their district’s Republican congressional candidate while 37% would opt for his or her Democratic opponent.

33% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove

44% Favor President’s Health Care Plan, 53% Oppose

78% Say All Americans Should Be Able To Buy The Health Insurance That Congress Has

33% Say U.S. Heading in Right Direction

70% Prefer Government That Provides Fewer Services With Lower Taxes

45% Say Unions Weaken America, 26% Disagree

60% Say Tax Hikes Hurt The Economy

And unlike Aggie, who instead of citing sources, tells you to go look up his so called facts because he is too important to do it himself, I will source mine: http://www.rasmussenreports.com

Whoops! You should have selectively ignored that one. This poll shows that a huge majority want to get in on the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program, a GOVERNMENT run insurance program.

Aggie Gal, you consistently prove to be a pretty dim bulb...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but was I the one who made the comment about 80%? I have WAY WAY less faith in the intelligence of most Americans than to say something like that. "Aggie Gal" is having a one sided fight between themselves and their imagination....

That's a good one.

Fuck the RepubliKKKans. They are assholes. The Bush administration did sit on their fat white asses while 9-11 terrorist acts were perpetrated. What's the big fucking deal?

Do you believe the consistently moronic "Aggie Gal" is a group of trolls? Why? The voice seems pretty consistent.
