My my my; aren't we bleak today, eh?

With all due respect Ted, your continued pessimism is getting annoying and irritating.
Theres a semi-fascistic turn in the ex-confederacy's air, a scent of right wing mob rage and the abstracted delusions of middle aged white people and all you can do is gently tinkle on Obama's relative weakness?
How about inciting some rage against the right wing machine?
The corporate gangs and their billionaire Vampire cannibal friends are sprinkling money over moneyless hillbillies to burn Obama down. If you could please point that out and stir the pot against them; maybe force your side to stand up against an enemy that deserves to be resisted, then we can take you a little more seriously in this age of corporate last-ditch defensiveness.
Sincerely

I recommend Y_S get a pen and paper, find the nearest scanner, and do his own work. Well, that and realize calling people 'moneyless hillbillies' just makes you sound like a complete and utter asshole.
Regarding our Chief Ineffectual,
Wasn't the entire point of, uh, gaining control of the United States government to NOT fucking delay everything you said you'd do? Obama blows, immature but honest.
Maitre d', I'd like a big fat plate of Jobs, with a side order of Medicare, and some Disaster Preparedness for desert. And I'd like it all washed down with some Bring-Home-The-Troops fine wine.
Maitre d'?
I'm afraid that the Obama Diet is above my pay grade.
I agree with Amnok, Obama actually has succeeded in making someone like ME opposed to the healthcare reform bill. Doing nothing at all is better than reforming healthcare without a public option. I'm content to refuse any movement from the status quo until that movement is meaningful. I no longer want Obama to do anything, I'd prefer he just sit on his hands and let the thing fall apart until we have a real opposition movement in this country. Both parties have categorically failed us.
Y_S is completely right. Your continued implication that we could've or hell, even that we can do better than Obama is close to rendering you irrelevant.
Political cartoons need to be based in reality to be funny. The idea that we could've done better is as fictional as anything Garfield dreams up.
I fully support this. Come on guys. This is what is going on. Promise coopt scam play along make the progressives /dems look bad voila repubs back in. At least make the repubs look "legit" like the other party. When the line should be so far over that neither party would be on the screen.

Once upon a time, an office of the president released a film! It was called The Plow that Broke the Plains. It made the case for the New Deal, and it was REALLY well done. You could go see the movie for free at a local gym or hall.
But Obama will never try this hard. We have our new Carter. Who will the next Reagan be?
Yeah and how is that New Deal working for you? So called "Social Security" is unsustainable and will soon be BK.
After hundreds of years of crap, ninety years of St, thirty years of smoke and eight years of fire and knowing that we are being prepared for this, why does it still scare me to hear this..... We have our new Carter. Who will the next Reagan be?
Amazing, but not entirely surprising. After all, Barack Obama is a Democrat. Barack Obams, or B.O., has now followed in the cowardly footsteps of Michael "Let George H. W. Bush walk all over me" Dukakis, Bill "Don't ask, don't tell" Clinton, and John "I fought in combat in Vietnam, but I won't fight proven coward, George W. Bush's, and the Swiftboat Veterans' lies and smear campaign" Kerry. We're doomed! Bush nearly succeeded in destroying our country, and now B.O., by kowtowing to the powerless Republican Terrorist Party, is putting the frosting on Bush's bright, shining incompetency. B.O.'s entire administration should carry signs that say, "The End is Near! Repent!" We are, with George W. Bush and Dick Cheney and their crowd our of office and awaiting indictiments that will never come (thanks to the all-forgiving B.O.), DOOMED!
