On a somber note, RIP Walter Cronkite, I wish there was someone, anyone like him working in the MSM today.
Bank of America was forced by Paulson to take bailout funds, was not allowed to pay them back early and was forced to take Merrill Lynch as well.

We've been told for decades that the weakness in our Republic was that someday some group would figure out it could "Vote itself Money". Usually told by people who wanted "Welfare Reform" and had a side ticket to funnel the taxes (which would not decrease) into their pockets.
