It's true: U.S. puppet Afghan president Hamid Karzai has signed into law a bill that requires Afghan women to have sex with their husbands at least every four days, except when they're menstruating or sick. The Taliban were progressive by comparison--they stoned rapists to death.

Most progressives including myself oppose capital punishment for any crime. So why would an extremely heinous form of capital punishment like stoning be progressive in comparison?
"By comparison" is the operative phrase. I oppose capital punishment as well. The Taliban, by punishing rapists rather than appointing to high positions in government, were better on women's rights than the current U.S. puppet/warlord regime.
Oops, the guy in the first panel actually looks like a Ted Rall cartoon. How'd you let that slip through?
