realtalk There's nothing stupider than expecting Obama to roll back any of the expanded executive powers by even a micron

I've been continuously lollin' at the self-delusion going on. Cue Obamatards: HE'S JUST A POLITICIAN! when he takes office he's going to do the right thing, not what he said he'd do (and did in the Senate,) even if it's politically dangerous

Hahahahaha it's not even being naïve, it's being in denial. HOPECHANGE

As Henry Agard Wallace (A woefully underestimated and under appreciated man) once said, "What one fool can do, another can." It used to be Democrats violating people's rights with increased government power back under Clinton. Now, it's the Republicans under Bush. Soon, it may be the Democrats under Obama.

Now I see why so few people got upset when George Bush said, in one of his early campaign appearances, "There ought to be limits to freedom."

Don't blame me. I've never voted for a major party's presidential candidate...

The only way to truly roll back the expanded powers of the executive would be for a president to abuse them so pervasively that it forced the country to reconsider.

Screw it,

I'm not gonna lose any sleep of he's his shiny new police state powers against right wing nuts and militias, like Ann Coulter the KKK and those 'think' tanks infecting Washington. Whats really funny is that he's a lawyer - so not only could he pull alotta of the Bush tactics at home but could do it with much more efficiency and stealth.

Whatever happened to "I disagree with everything you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it yada-yada"?
"Liberals" indeed...
