I think the fundy right sees this for what it is, their last ditch effort to get their people at the top. At least the leadership of the fundy movement has to realize the epic backlash that has been brewing for years.

I don't think John McCain is really smart enough to manage her ambition. He's coasting to the finish line, just like most people his age.
I received an email from right-wing Christian group that actually urged Christians to vote for McCain despite the fact that he's not extreme enough for them, because Palin would soon become president (hint, hint, wink, wink).
Ted, I'm beginning to think that's what it's going to take.
I think people underestimate McCain. I'd think twice about messing with anyone who survived torture in Vietnam and three bouts with skin cancer, not to mention who has a mother in her 90s who is still very active. Seems to me those McCain genes are pretty tough.

McCain has been running for Prez for almost a decade not to mention how long he has had the aspiration of becoming Prez.
If McCain is able to pull it off an win in November, would it be crazy that all the emotions and stress coursing through his system would lead to say, a heart attack? Maybe a stroke? He still hasn't fully disclosed his med records. What happens then after the "winning blow"? Would Palin be Prez from day one? I want to know who would become her VP. I bet its Jesus.
How awesome would it be to see Prez Palin giving the State of the Union address in tongues! Every heard the Palin Doctrine? It's easy enough to remember. WWJD (What Would Jesus Do for you heathens) and Jesus would Bomb Iran and every other country she can't pronounce/ever heard of.
B Hussien Obama should also release his records in their entirety. I'd like to know how all that cocaine and smoking cigarettes has effected his cardio vascular system.
