Are'nt we due for a terror alert??
Probably went down like this:
VP (speaking to Deputy): “Shred the tapes in the document shredder”
Deputy (speaking to Deputy squared) “Shred the tapes in the document shredder”
And so on, and so on down to the intern
Intern (thinking): “He wants me to shred the tapes in the document shredder? What kind of asshole……………”
!!BHHAAMM!!
!!FIRE!!!
2 days later
Intern (speaking to Canon document shredder tech): “Can you believe he wanted me to stick these VHS tapes in the shredder?
Tech: Yep, they try all the time
Intern: But those stupid assholes pay a company $1/byte to digitize the tapes first
Tech: Yeah, well they’re payin my boss (VP’s friend) $100K to fix this machine
Intern (thinking): Does the press really think they only have one copy of these tapes? Or, that these tapes are probably leftover blank tapes they found in the warehouse?
:-)
