3 Comments:
In Vermont, we constituents get correspondence from Senator Leahy rather more sharply worded toward the criminal administration. As Senate Judiciary chairguy, Leahy is doing what's appropriate for the position and in his experience as a popular prosecutor. But he's getting flimsy (if any) support from the so-called Leadership. The Speaker of the House and the Senate Majority Leader seem to be less like Leaders than like Impeders.
Caution: This ("Impediment") may alter the acronym "DLC."
fresh toon
This cartoon is rather ironic, considering Leahy is somewhat of a comic book buff... (Unfortunately, IMHO, his taste in comics is like his taste is investigation...)
